The elections for the new EAPS Council took place by electronic ballot in June 2016. With a voter turnout of  61,8%, the new Council was elected as follows:

Zsolt Spéder (President)

Jane Falkingham (Vice-President)

Hill Kulu (Secretary-General/Treasurer)

Tomas Sobotka, Helga de Valk (Members)

The current Council expresses its great appreciation to all candidates who took part in the elections which followed a new system, and congratulates the newly elected Council.

The transfer from the old to the new Council will take place at the end of the upcoming General Assembly of EAPS, which will convene in Mainz on Thursday 1 September at 17.30 hrs during the European Population Conference 2016.
